Meet Lindsay
A Compassionate Partner in Your Healing Journey
I’m Lindsay, and I am glad you’re taking time to look into help for yourself. Whether you are navigating the transition into adulthood, a lifelong struggle with food and body image or find yourself blindsided by the biological shifts of midlife, I provide a therapeutic space grounded in safety and specialized expertise.
Specialized Clinical Focus
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with advanced training from Harvard Medical School in Women’s Health and Menopause, I have a deep understanding of how hormonal and biological transitions impact mental health. I blend this with my expertise as an Eating Disorder specialist to help you foster body trust and metabolic neutrality. My work is designed to protect you from the "diet culture" traps that often resurface during times of physical change, ensuring your recovery is resilient and sustainable at any age. I have clients transitioning into adulthood and some learning how to enjoy retirement
Therapy with a Roadmap
In my practice, I don’t just provide therapy; I provide a roadmap. We combine clinical psychotherapy with strategic advocacy, helping you translate complex physical and emotional symptoms into actionable plans. Whether we are preparing for a medical appointment, a talk with a family member or navigating a recovery milestone, I am here to help you advocate for the care you deserve.
The Power of Radical Presence
My approach is one of radical presence. Through highly attuned, focused listening, I help you filter out the "noise"—whether it’s societal pressure, hormonal fluctuations, or the internal critic—so you can find your way back to your authentic self.
Philosophy of Care
You Are the Expert of Your Own Body
In a world that often talks at people about their health, my practice is built on the belief that you are the primary driver of your own care. Whether you are navigating the complexities of midlife, managing hormonal transitions, or healing your relationship with food and your body, my role is not to dictate your path, but to act as a skilled partner and navigator
A Holistic and Person-Driven Approach
Traditional medical models often focus on "what is the matter with you." Together, we shift that focus to "what matters to you." This approach is:
Collaborative: We combine my clinical expertise in mental health and hormonal transitions with your expertise in your own life and values.
Sovereign: I respect your absolute right to Autonomy, Voice, and Choice. You lead the way in setting goals and making informed decisions about your treatment.
Comprehensive: We look at the whole picture—considering the intersections of your hormonal health, cultural background, and personal history.
Healing Through a Justice Lens
i believe that true wellness cannot exist without justice. My clinical work is grounded in an Anti-Racist, Fat-Positive, and Decolonizing framework. This means I actively work to dismantle the systemic biases—such as weight stigma and white supremacy culture—that frequently create barriers to effective healthcare. I am committed to Health at Every Size (HAES®), ensuring that your care is focused on your well-being and functional goals rather than a number on a scale
Radical Empathy and Clinical Rigor
My practice blends evidence-based interventions with deep, trauma-informed empathy. I recognize the courage it takes to advocate for yourself within complex systems. Whether we are navigating the "second puberty" of menopause or addressing long-standing patterns of disordered eating, you can expect a therapeutic space rooted in Cultural Humility, Dignity, and Mutuality.
You deserve care that sees the whole of who you are, respects your autonomy, and honors your body exactly as it is today
